Part I. Oral English
1. Mr. Smith is still in his forties.     史密斯先生才四十幾歲.
2. What time do you start work?     你什麼時候開始工作？
3. They'll have a party for their 10th wedding anniversary.  他們將為結婚十周年開個晚會.

Part II. A Joke
At about 3 a.m., I was drunk as a skunk (爛醉). I came home just in time to hear the cuckoo clock
cuckoo (報時) three times. Quickly coming up with a plan, I cuckooed nine more times, hoping
my wife would think it was midnight. I was very proud of myself.
The next day, my wife asked what time I got home, and I replied, "Midnight."
She said that was good, and for some reason she said we needed a new cuckoo clock. When I
asked why, she answered, "Last night when it cuckooed midnight, it cuckooed three times,
said 'Shit (狗屁)!,' cuckooed four more times, farted (放屁), cuckooed three times, cleared its throat,
cuckooed two more times and then started giggling (傻笑).
